AI interview practice that tells you what to fix
Answer real interview questions out loud or in writing. Get instant feedback on structure, evidence and delivery, then try again until the answer sounds like you on a good day.
No sign-up. Works in your browser. Behavioral, case, PM, technical, banking and data questions.
Behavioral · Sample feedback
Tell me about a time you missed a deadline.
“In my last role I owned the Q3 billing migration. Two weeks out I saw we would miss the date, so I re-scoped the launch to the top 3 customer segments and told my manager that day. We shipped 80% of accounts on time and the rest 9 days later…”
Fix next: say what you learned and what you now do differently. That is what this question is really testing.
An AI mock interview in three steps
Most people know their stories. What fails in the room is structure, specifics and nerves. Repetition fixes all three, and AI interview prep makes repetition cheap.
Pick a track and a question
Choose behavioral, case, product, technical, banking or data. Questions are drawn from the patterns interviewers use most.
Answer under a timer
Speak or type. A clock runs so you learn what two minutes actually feels like, which is shorter than most people think.
Read the feedback, then retry
See your score for structure, evidence, ownership and delivery, plus a written note from the AI interviewer. Answer again and compare.
Mock interview AI for the role you want
Each track has its own question bank and feedback rules. A case answer is scored on structure and a recommendation; a behavioral answer on STAR and results.
Behavioral
Teamwork, conflict, failure and leadership questions, scored against the STAR method.
Practice behavioral →Consulting case
Market sizing, profitability and market entry prompts in the style of McKinsey, BCG and Bain.
Practice cases →Product manager
Product sense, prioritization, metrics and execution questions.
Practice PM →Software engineer
System design talk-throughs, debugging stories and core concepts, explained out loud.
Practice engineering →Investment banking
Accounting, valuation, deal and fit questions for analyst and associate roles.
Practice banking →Data analyst
SQL reasoning, metrics, experimentation and stakeholder questions.
See data questions →AI interview prep that is specific, not generic
Every answer is checked against the things interviewers write down on their scorecards. You see exactly which part of your answer is costing you.
Structure
STAR for behavioral answers. Clarify, structure, hypothesis and recommendation for cases.
Evidence
Flags answers with no numbers. Interviewers trust results they can measure.
Ownership
Counts “I” against “we” so your own contribution is not lost inside the team’s.
Delivery
Length, time, speaking pace and filler words like “um” and “basically”.
Question banks and methods
Read the questions, learn the frameworks interviewers expect, then rehearse each one in the AI mock interview.
Frequently asked questions
Is this AI interview practice free?
Yes. You can run as many AI mock interviews as you like without creating an account. Open the practice tool, pick a track and start answering.
How does an AI mock interview work?
You get a real interview question, answer it by speaking or typing while a timer runs, then receive feedback. The tool checks your structure (for example the STAR method), whether you used concrete numbers, how much you talk about your own actions, your length and pace, and filler words. An AI interviewer also writes a short critique with one thing to fix.
Can I practice by speaking instead of typing?
Yes. Press “Answer by voice” and speak. Your browser turns speech into text so you can review exactly what you said. Voice input works in current versions of Chrome, Edge and Safari.
Is AI interview prep as good as practicing with a person?
It solves a different problem. A person gives richer judgment, but is hard to book and you rarely get more than one or two sessions. AI interview prep lets you repeat the same question ten times in an evening until the structure is automatic, which is where most candidates fall short. Use both if you can.
What kinds of interviews can I practice?
Behavioral, consulting case, product manager, software engineering and technical, investment banking, and data analyst questions. See all practice tracks.
What is the 80/20 rule in interviewing?
It is the guideline that the candidate should do roughly 80% of the talking and the interviewer about 20%. It also describes preparation: a small set of well-rehearsed stories covers most of the questions you will be asked. Read the full 80/20 rule guide.
